Five Guys

Five guys, hundreds of locations. Northern Virginia chain mixes it up in the big town. Equal share of addicts and detractors. Patties are too thin to come rare, and to beef up your bun best opt for the regular, not the littles. Fries are all that, though, in plentiful portions. Spic and span store trimmed in malt shoppe reds and whites, barrels of peanuts recalling those Old Dominion roots. Good beer sop for binges at Bleecker Heights Tavern upstairs, but we're still pining for an In-N-Out to break our way.
